Sightseeing and Activity Recommendations
In the vicinity of Bárdudvarnok, in the Zselic Hills, there are numerous attractions and activities to explore. Here are some recommendations.
The Zselic Landscape Protection Area, home to the Csillagpark (Star Park), was awarded the International Dark Sky Park title in 2009 due to its low light pollution.
The observatory cannot be visited independently; access is only possible through pre-scheduled guided programs. However, the outdoor areas of the Star Park are open to the public.

The park is home to nearly 100 different bird species, including peacocks, pigeons, quails, ducks, parrots, and various breeds of chickens, such as the unique "Zsippószépe." Children will especially enjoy petting ponies and donkeys and exploring the Indian tent.

Lajos Kassai, the world-famous horseback archer, is also a renowned bow maker. In addition to his craft, he holds demonstrations and special history lessons on the first Saturday of every month in the Kassai Valley, offering visitors a unique glimpse into traditional horseback archery and Hungarian equestrian culture.

Try the Adventure Cave's interactive climbing walls
Slide down Central Europe's tallest dry slide
Jump around in the trampoline park
For younger children, the Totyogó Playhouse and small bouncing hill provide plenty of fun, while parents can test their skills in the multi-level labyrinth of the adult playhouse.
The Experience Center also has its own kitchen, where freshly prepared meals are served.

Zselici Csühögő – Forest Railway Experience
A unique tourist attraction, the Zselici Csühögő forest railway operates between Almamellék and Sasrét, offering a scenic ride through the beautiful Zselic region.
